GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB FINANCE DEPARTMENT 

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department intends to hire multi-disciplinary qualified professionals with management experience to fill different positions in the Corporate Finance Unit, Finance Department. The Corporate Finance Unit has been established within Finance Department to assist in matters of Public Sector Companies relating to governance, risk management and compliance. It will provide expert opinion to these companies whenever required in achieving the goals assigned to these as per the vision of the Government.
The Corporate Finance Unit invites applications from eligible candidates having the following qualification & experience in the relevant field:-

 1. Head of Corporate Finance Unit (01)

 i) Qualification: 

a) MBA; or b) Masters in Finance / Law I Project Management / Risk Management from a reputable university; or c) CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charter holder; or d) Chartered Accountant I Cost and Management Accountant. ii) Overall experience of at least 15-years. (Experience of working in positions providing exposure to governance/policy/strategy/risk/compliance related issues will be preferred.) Not less than 35-years

2. Corporate Governance Specialist (02)

 i) Qualification:

 a) MBA from a reputable university; or b) Four (4) years Bachelors or blasters in Finance / Law / Project Management I Risk Management from a reputable university; or c) CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charter holder. ii) Overall experience of at least 10-years. (Experience of working in positions providing exposure governance/policy/strategy related issues will be preferred.) Not less than 30-years to Not less than 30-years in a Not less than 30-years

3. Risk Management Specialist (01)

 minimum qualification:


 a) ASA (Associate of Society of Actuaries) or equivalent; or b) CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charter holder; or c) Certified FRM (Financial Risk Manager) or PRM (Professional Risk Manager); ii) Additional qualifications: MBA (Finance) from a reputable university; Bachelors or Masters Finance / Law / Project Management / Risk Management from reputable university will be preferred. iii) Overall experience of at least 07-years. (Experience of working in positions providing exposure to risk management will be preferred.)

4. Accounting and Compliance Specialist (01)
Minimum qualification: 

Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant or Management Accountant. ii) Additional qualifications: in Accounting or Auditing e.g. CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) will be preferred iii) Overall experience of at least 07-years. (Experience of working in positions providing exposure to matters relating to accounting, auditing. compliance and internal controls will be preferred.)

 5. Public Sector Finance Manager (01)

 i) Bachelors from a recognized university. Higher level of education will be considered an advantage. ii) Sound understanding of Provincial Finance Framework including constitutional provisions and other financial rules for dealing with public money. iii) Sound understanding of allocations, re-appropriations, disbursements & transfers of public money. iv) Sound understanding of Public Sector Companies' governing laws, financing arrangements and resulting fiscal responsibility. (v) Experience of implementing reforms agenda for enhanced accountability, transparency or efficiency in a government department or government agency will he preferred. vi) At least 15 years of total work experience in Public Finance (regular service only). It may be in different departments at different times during the service. Not less than 30-years

6. Office Assistant/ Manager (01) 

Graduation (Second Division) from a recognized university. 18-30
The above positions are offered for a period of three years renewable contract under employment of the Government of the Punjab. Remuneration for the posts will be market based.
