Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals to fill the following positions in the Higher Education Commission:Deputy Director (BPS-18)
(Regular) Pay Scale (Rs. 25940-1950-64940) No. of Posts (s)/Quota (5 positions) Punjab = 2 Punjab (Women) = 1 Sindh (U) =1 GB / FATA = 1 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE PhD degree with one year experience in the relevant field in BPS-17 and above or equivalent in a Government / Semi-Govemment/Public Sector Organization/ Autonomous Body/ Corporation. OR MPhi with three years experience in the relevant field in BPS-17 and above or equivalent in a Government / Semi-Govemment/Public Sector Organization/ Autonomous Body / Corporation. OR Masters degree with five years experience in the relevant field in BPS-17 and above or equivalent in a Government I Semi-Govemment/ Public Sector Organization/Autonomous Body/Corporation. Knowlege of MS Office is also required. AGE 30-40 years
2. Assistant Director (BPS-17)
(Regular) Pay Scale (Rs. 20680-1555-51780) (8 positions) Merit = 1 Punjab = 3 Punjab (Women) = 1 Sindh (R) = 1 KPK = 1 AJ&K = 1 Masters degree or equivalent in the relevant field. Knowlege of MS Office is also required. 21-30 years
3. System Engineer (BPS-17)
(Regular) Pay Scale (Rs. 20680-1555-51780) (1 position) Punjab Masters Degree or BS (four years) in any of the IT / CS / Engineering or equivalent degree with at least 2nd Division from HEC Recognized Universities / Institutions. At least two years relevant experience and sound knowledge of Windows, Linux, Unix environments and also experience of installing and using network monitoring applications, configuring core network services such as load balancing, caching, mail, DNS and managing remote networks. Designing, implementing, testing, and monitoring security configurations for protecting the systems developed. Software updating and version control for network software. Candidates with industry certifications in operating system and Networking will have an advantage. 22-35 years
4. House Manager (BPS-17)
(Regular) Pay Scale (Rs. 20680-1555-51780) (1 position) Punjab Masters degree in Business Administration/Hotel Management with one year experience in Five Star Hotel Management. Knowlege of MS Office is also required. 21-30 years
5. Law Officer (BPS-17)
(Regular) Pay Scale (Rs. 20680-1555-51780) (1 position) Punjab Bachelors Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent from HEC recognized University / Institution with two years experience as a practicing lawyer in the field of services / corporate Laws. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills, MS Office proficiency is pre-requisite. 21-30 years
6. Documentation Officer / Librarian
(BPS-17) (Regular) Pay Scale (Rs. 20680-1555-51780) (2 positions) Sindh (R) = 1 KPK = 1
• . Masters Degree in Library Science/Information Sciences. . . . . . .. 21-30 years .
• Applicants are required to apply online through HEC website http://hjp.hec.gov.pk and send hard copy of the same application along with the photograph and attested photocopies of required documents (viz. educational and experience certificates, domicile etc.). Last date for submission of application is March 7, 2016.
• The experience as part time, honorary, apprentice and internee will not be considered / counted as experience. Selectee can be posted anywhere in Pakistan.
• Those already in Govemment Service should apply through proper channel. Age relaxation will be given as per Government rules. Incomplete / late applications will not be entertained. Only eligible candidates will be called for test / interview.
• Written test will be conducted. Knowledge of MS Office, good verbal and written communication skills in English is also required.
• Application processing fee @ Rs. 500/- may be deposited in the online A/C No. 17427900133401 of HEC maintained for the purpose in Habib Bank Ltd. A proforma for depositing fee is available at http://ift.tt/1U102nS. Bank Drafts / Postal Order will also be acceptable as application processing fee in favour of Director (Accounts), HEC.
